What I'm doing

• Living at home with my parents while working as a substitute teacher
• Searching for a full time position
• Thinking about taking another actuarial exam
• Getting more serious about running and trying to improve my cardio with a eventual goal of completing a marathon

What I'm learning

• Category theory through a variety of sources, primarily Basic Category Theory by Tom Leinster and these lectures by Bartosz Milewski
• Statistics and machine learning with Introduction to Statistical Learning
• Data Structures and Algorithms using The Algorithm Design Manual by Steven Skiena
• The programming languages Haskell, C, Python, R, Rust and hopefully Go in the near future

What I'm reading

• Shape by Jordan Ellenberg, about geometry and how it relates to our lives. His book How Not to Be Wrong is one of my favorites, so I am excited for this one.

What I'm listening to

• You Signed Up For This by Maisie Peters, an artist I just recently discovered
