I am available for mathematics tutoring, both in person and online. I can teach algebra, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. I was a peer tutor and a TA my junior and senior years of college, and loved seeing people improve each week. I create a supportive, stress-free environment to help students build confidence, master key concepts, and develop lifelong learning skills.

Teaching Philosophy

Math is a difficult subject, no matter which level, and learning new concepts will always be challenging. The role of a tutor is to guide a student through the material so it doesn't feel impossible. Math is all about repetition and practice, and the only way to really learn is to do practice problems until they are effortless. When learning, you should not be afraid to make mistakes, and you should get comfortable with the feeling of being lost. The understanding comes only after persevering through the struggle.
